Who are we?
An Interest Group By Students, For Students.
Hello! We are SUSS's Early Childhood Education Interest Group (ECEIG), established in 2021. We aim to foster a community of learners among the undergraduates, postgraduates and alumni of SUSS ECE, by facilitating workshops and activities in our MakerSpace C3.16, also known as the Playpen for Teachers.
All SUSS ECE students and alumni are automatically members of the ECEIG.
What do we do?
Explorers@MakerSpace: Every month, we open the MakerSpace C3.16 for our students so they can explore endless possibilities of learning by interacting with the materials present.
Year-One Orientation: We interact with the Year-Ones every year to guide them and give them tips to help them in their journey they are to partake in SUSS ECE!
Sharing Sessions: We organise and facilitate sharing sessions, with topics ranging from work attachment and research modules (e.g. ECE499), to social issues in the local ECE landscape.
Collaborations: We collaborate with alumni and initiatives and to organise sharing sessions and workshops that can benefit our community of learners.
